Hackensack, NJ – A.J. Colucci will be speaking at Barnes & Noble, Riverside Square Mall on Route 4 in Hackensack, NJ on Saturday, July 13 at 8 pm about her novel The Colony from St. Martin’s Press.
Colucci will discuss how she found an agent and publisher, the art of editing a manuscript and what publishers are looking for today, as well as the pros and cons of traditional publishers versus self-publishing. Whether you are thinking about writing a book, in the process of writing one or have one written, this presentation can help you avoid the pitfalls and put you on the right track. There will be a question and answer period and copies of her books will be available for signing.

Colucci’s second novel will be coming out in spring 2014 from St. Martin’s Press. "My stories combine cutting-edge science with the fast pace of a thriller," said Colucci, whose novel, The Colony explores the science behind genetically engineered insects.
