Gangstagrass, Bluegrass + Hip-Hop Hybrid in Teaneck

Gangstagrass, continue to announce
additional tour dates. Born from the musical mind of Rench, who was
reared on pure bluegrass and country at home while break dancing at his
grade school yard, Gangstagrass mixes bluegrass and rap and have quite
possibly forged an entirely new and modern genre of utterly American
music.  Though the band name may not be readily known to some, many
already know their sound as their song  “Long Hard Times To Come” is the
theme song that opens every episode of the FX hit Justified and which
was nominated in 2010 for an Emmy as the Best Theme Song.
 
But what can words on a page actually
tell you about music? At the end of the day you have to listen to it and
find out for yourself. All we can hope to do is share some back story
and a little about what people are sayin’ – but don’t take our word for
