Teaneck-Englewood NANBPWC Commemorates 50th Anniversary

TEANECK - ENGLEWOOD BUSINESS & PROFESSIONAL WOMEN COMMEMORATE GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY 

The Teaneck-Englewood and Vicinity Club of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc. (NANBPWC) will commemorate fifty years of service during its Golden Anniversary Founder’s Day on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at 4:00 PM.   The event will be held at the Galilee United Methodist Church, 325 Genesee Avenue, Englewood, NJ, 201-567-0009.
Two awards will be given during this ceremony.  The Legacy Award will be presented to Galilee United Methodist Church of Englewood, New Jersey for its 100 years of service to the community.   
Dr. Joyce Baynes will be awarded the highest and most prestigious award given by The National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc.; the Sojourner Truth Award.  This award is named for the Patron Saint of the organization, Sojourner Truth.
The speaker for this occasion is Dr. Valeria O. Lovelace, Executive Director and  and Co-founder of Community Saints 2050A.D.; the rites of passage program of sixth, seventh and eighth graders at Community Baptist Church in Englewood.    
Mr. Andrew Darling, counter-tenor, will be the guest soloist.
The public is invited to this free event.  Refreshments will be served.  Cheryl McKay is President of the Teaneck-Englewood & Vicinity Club NANBPWC.  Erma Burrell, is Chairperson.
