Thursdays Are for Poetry will feature Poet Zev Shanken at the Teaneck General Store (502A Cedar Lane) on Thursday, November 21 (7:30 – 9:30).  A resident of Teaneck since 1981, Zev’s poems have recently appeared in Yes!, New Verse News, The Brownstone Poets Anthology, Brevitas Festival 2013, 2012, 2011, and First Literary Review-East.  In 1995 Blue Begonia published his chapbook, Al Het.  Along with his recent work, Zev will also present some of his Choral Poems in which the audience is given texts to read
responsively, as at synagogues or chain gangs.  $5.00 donation.
