Tis The Season To Be...HACKED!

This holiday season be extra careful and aware of email scams claiming to be from Better Business Bureau, UPS, Fedex, or online retailers.

Don't get caught off guard when checking your email. Hackers constantly send virus infested emails, also called "Phishing", disguised as coming from legitimate businesses and organizations like The Better Business Bureau, IRS, local banks, FedEx, UPS or large retail stores. Never immediately open an email, attachment or click on a link. Take a moment to think and remember to protect yourself.

Our cloud-based endpoint protection protects your desktops, laptops, servers, and even smartphones wherever they’re connected—in the office, at home, or on the road. It’s hosted and maintained by security experts, so your computers are secure day and night. With security as a service, you don’t have to worry about the latest spyware, data leaks, identity theft, server maintenance, or security updates.

If you do fall victim to a computer virus, contact HaonTech.com to get help right away. Don't wait until you have "spare time". Depending on the virus your computer has, you will experience different symptoms. Some viruses make your computer useless or slow, some change important settings, others steal your personal information, others hack into your email accounts and send messages to all your contacts. The list goes on. Your computer may be fully functional while the virus is doing damage behind the scenes.

So remember, next time you get an email from"The Better Business Bureau" about a filed complaint, or if you get an email from "FEDEX" saying your package was not delivered, or "your bank" asks you to click on a link to update your password, DO NOT open it or click on any links or attachments within.
