Developer Rafael Levy has been approved to build a 42 unit luxury rental building in Teaneck, NJ

TEANECK - Developer/Investor Rafael Levy has been approved to build 42 luxury rental units that will begin construction after the summer. The building will hold 36 apartments and 6 stores. The ground floor retail will contain approximately 8,600 square feet The building will measure 68 feet tall higher than the township's 42 foot building limit. There will also be 87 underground parking spots on two levels which is also higher that the township's 84 spot parking limit. The building will be five stories high. The top floor will contain five penthouses ranging in size from 1,300-1,700 square feet. All of the five penthouses will have large balconies. There will also be a rooftop on top of the fifth floor that will be approximately 9,000 square feet. On the side there will be a small building that will hold all the garbage. Rafael is also trying to get a small gym inside of the building.
