Crowds of Well-Wishers Cheer Retired Teaneck Police Officer [PHOTOS]

Decorated Teaneck PD motorcycle officer served the township for more than two decades.

Retired Teaneck Police Officer Charles "CJ" Mulligan walked out of headquarters to a string of handshakes, confetti and loud applause from crowds of fellow officers and other well-wishers after ending his last shift with the department Friday afternoon.

Mulligan, a 25-year township police veteran, was then celebrated with a parade along Cedar Lane to the nearby Cottage Bar. The popular officer served in the traffic bureau and raked up scores of commendations during his service to Teaneck.

Members of the Bergen County Police Pipes and Drums were also on hand for the procession, along with officers from several nearby departments including Englewood and Fort Lee
