Helicopter Landing, Giveaways Among Teaneck 'Night Out' Highlights

The Teaneck Police Department's National Night Out celebration at Votee Park will feature everything from a helicopter landing to games, food and family fun, all in a community-wide celebration.

The event runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Aug. 6 with the helicopter expected to land between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.

A full list of highlights, provided by the Community Policing Squad is below:

There will be a helicopter landing (sometime between 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.), a 25 foot high quad bungee trampoline, a train ride, an inflatable obstacle course, a 21 foot high inflatable slide, an army football toss game, two face painters, a visit from Batman and Darth Vader, a D.J., dancers, police horses, police dogs, a vehicle extrication demonstration, a military police armored M1117 vehicle, an army Humvee, a fire safety house and fire truck, a crime scene investigations truck, police motorcycles, a police bomb truck, a variety of culinary food options (kosher and non-kosher selections), free giveaways for the kids and more.
