Holy Name EMTs Aid in Ocean County Sandy Response [VIDEO]

Emergency medical technicians from Holy Name Medical Center setup a field hospital in Ocean County after Hurricane Sandy devastated the area, treating scores of patients when local hospitals became overwhelmed. 

Sean Reilly, a member of Holy Name's Special Operations team, treated about 90 patients in 14 hours, according to the hospital. Reilly handled cases ranging from infections to chronic conditions to lacerations.

In a video released by the hospital, Reilly shared his experience in the massive disaster response.

"It was heart wrenching to see that kind of devastation," he said. "It was like an apocalypse."
