Teen Robbed at Knifepoint in Teaneck

Cell phone taken in Thursday evening robbery, police say.

Township police say a man held up two teenagers at knifepoint on North Street Thursday evening, making off with an iPhone.

The robber accosted the teens, ages 16 and 17, as they cut through a lot at the Al-Ghazaly High School just before 6 p.m., police said. The assailant pulled a knife before escaping with the smartphone.

Police described the robber as a black male, in his late teens or early 20's wearing a ski mask and black jacket. He was last seen fleeing south toward Bogota.
