Man Charged in Teaneck Sexual Assault
Authorities say 34-year-old township man assaulted female acquaintance in Teaneck.
A 34-year-old Teaneck man was charged last week with sexually assaulting a woman at his State Street apartment, authorities said Tuesday.
Sidney Jackson Jr. assaulted the woman, described as an acquaintance, on Feb. 13, according to a statement from Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli.
The victim alerted authorities after the attack and a joint investigation by Teaneck detectives and the prosecutor's Special Victims Unit led to the arrest Friday in Teaneck, the prosecutor said. Jackson Jr. faces one count of sexual assault.

He was being held on $150,000 bail with no ten percent option ahead of a Wednesday morning arraignment, according to jail records.
