Officials to Hold Safety Seminar in Teaneck

Teaneck police, fire and emergency management representatives set to attend

Teaneck officials are scheduled to host a seminar in an effort to educate the public on a range of safety topics Sept. 9.

Teaneck Fire Chief Anthony Verley, Police Chief Robert Wilson and Emergency Management Coordinator Larry Robertson are expected to be on hand to answer questions and give presentations.

The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and county police are also likely to send representatives.

Councilman Elie Y. Katz, who helped organize the effort, said the event would address safety concerns for residents and local institutions, including schools, businesses and houses of worship.

The seminar is scheduled to run from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Richard Rodda Center in multipurpose room 1.
