No Foul Play Suspected After Woman Found Hurt in Teaneck

Neighbor found the woman bleeding in her driveway Wednesday afternoon

A woman found bleeding and unconscious in the driveway of her East Tryon Avenue home Wednesday afternoon likely fell and was not the victim of foul play, according to police.

Teaneck detectives and investigators from the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Unit converged on the scene after a neighbor found the woman around 12:30 p.m. As a precaution, police initially treated the house as a crime scene, but investigators have found no signs of an attack.

Authorities said the 63-year-old woman was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center with a head wound. Her condition was not immediately available late Wednesday afternoon.
