Two Charged in Teaneck Robbery

Assailants arrested in Hackensack after fleeing Queen Anne Road robbery, police say.

Two men face robbery charges after they accosted two pedestrians on Queen Anne Road and made off with an iPhone late Tuesday, according to Teaneck police.

Officers responded to a report of a robbery near the CVS around 11 p.m. where the victims said two assailants had run up behind them, snatched the phone and fled, Sgt. Thomas Sullivan said.

Police learned the robbers were seen fleeing the area in a white sedan and broadcast an alert to nearby towns, Sullivan said. Hackensack officers later stopped the car on Fair Street and police found the stolen phone inside.
