Former Mayor Commends Teaneck Police, Library Staff in Theft Case

The following was submitted by Paul S. Ostrow, a former mayor and library board member.

The collaborative and patient efforts of Teaneck Library Director Mike McCue, his staff, Teaneck Police Chief Bob Wilson, our detective and juvenile bureaus and the entire TPD are to be commended. This month long investigative effort was a focused and deliberate effort to make an arrest and eliminate & continue to prevent criminal activity and wrongdoing in our public library. Teaneck's library staff as well as the hundreds of dedicated staff members of 70+ BCCLS libraries are committed not only to the education and enjoyment of their patrons, but to their physical and emotional comfort, safety and well being.
