Overnight Route 4 Lane Closures Set to Begin

Motorists asked to leave extra time or take other routes

Crews this week are set to install a temporary Route 4 bridge structure over the Flat Rock Brook, leading to overnight lane closures in Englewood, state transportation officials announced.

Closures are set to begin Monday night and last through Thursday in both directions, the DOT said. Creamer-Sanzari Inc. is set to remove the existing bridge and install a temporary crossing along with steel plates.

The transportation agency urged motorists to use alternate routes or leave extra time when traveling on Route 4 through the Englewood-area.
