Board of Education Recognizes Teaneck HS Students for Good Deeds

Students turn in valuables

Two students were recognized by the Board of Education after turning in cash and checks they found.

Christopher Garlington, a Teaneck senior, was walking home from school when he found an envelope containing cash and checks misplaced by a township resident, said Teaneck High School Principal Dennis Heck. Garlington brought the envelope to school so the owner could be contacted.

Another student, junior Sharice McKoy, found $220 in a girls’ bathroom and turned in the money so it could be returned to another student.
