Education Town Hall Planned in Englewood
School funding among topics for discussion at Saturday event.
Community Baptist Church will host a town hall meeting on public education Saturday.
The discussion will include topics ranging from the closure of neighborhood schools to funding. Information on special education, free and reduced school lunch, and online testing will also be presented.
The event, called “The People’s Town Hall Meeting on Public Education Issues & Solutions,” will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 224 First Street in Englewood.
