Event to Focus on 'Hope and Healing' After Newtown

Forum for educators and community members to find support following the Newtown elementary school shooting.

The interfaith Teaneck Clergy Council on Thursday will host a program of "hope and healing" in the aftermath of the Sandy Hook elementary school shooting in Newtown.

The event will run from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Benjamin Franklin Middle School auditorium and is open to the entire Teaneck community, including educators, parents and students.

"This is an opportunity for the whole community (public and private) to find mutual support and encouragement as they carry on their calling to educate our children," an announcement for the event states.
