The League of Women Voters of Teaneck and Teaneck Council of Parents and Teachers has scheduled a Candidates’ Forum for the upcoming Board of Education election, to take place on Monday, October 15th starting at 7:30 p.m. in the 3rd Floor Student Center of Teaneck High School. Teaneck Board of Education voted to move their Board of Education elections to November without having the annual budget be on the ballot. All five candidates have been invited to participate in this forum, which will be run by an independent professionally-trained moderator.  The candidates have also been invited to submit answers to written questions on school-based issues in advance, and copies of those answers will be made available at the forum, as well as the library and other public venues in Teaneck.  The public will be encouraged to submit questions to the moderator in written form as well.
