Work to Cause I-95 Teaneck-Leonia Ramp Closures

Construction will force the closure of two I-95 exits near the Teaneck-Leonia border starting Friday, according to police.

Lt. Tom Rowe, commander of the Leonia Police Department, provided details below on the planned road closure:

"Exits 70A & 70B from Route 95 northbound will be shut this weekend from Friday at 7 p.m. until Monday at 5 a.m. due to construction. The construction is on the ramp leading to the exits south of Degraw Ave.There will be a posted detour for motorists to Exit 71, then to Rt 95 s/b, and then to Exit 70 at the Glenpointe. The construction is dependent on good weather, so any rain will postpone the construction to another weekend. In addition to this weekend, the construction and ramp closures are also planned for the weekend of Sept 13th."
