Named after the town's first black mayor Bernard E. Brooks, this local park is located east of Teaneck Road near Englewood. Park facilities include basketball courts, a baseball field, a swing set and a children's water pool for light splashing. This was the first park I worked at as an employee of the Teaneck Rec. Dept. summer program around 1968. Kenny Banks is the only camper name that comes to mind right now. I believe this park was the home of the Teaneck LL's minor league schedule where I coached with Norman Birnbaum.
