Fairleigh Dickinson University is New Jersey's largest private university with two campuses and more than 100 degree programs on the undergraduate, graduate and professional levels. FDU's Metropolitan Campus, located in Teaneck and Hackensack, runs along the Hackensack River and is just outside of Teaneck's Cedar Lane business district. The Teaneck campus includes student dorms and athletic fields. The Metropolitan Campus has several programs and services open to the Teaneck community, including two free public art galleries, WFDU's (89.1 FM) radio, affordable psychological counseling services, a lecture series featuring world-famous writers and the FDU United Nations Pathways Forum.
