This was hands down, the worst therapist experience I have ever had. At the end of our session, I knew more about her than she did about me, and she's the therapist! It was so awkward, and when I left because I didn't think it was a good fit, she acted like I had just canceled our play-date and wanted to take all my toys home with me. I could not have felt more uncomfortable! Furthermore, boundaries are clearly an issue with this therapist, and I never want to leave a session feeling like I need to be consoling the therapist. It isn't the patient's job to make a therapist feel secure, and like they've done a great job, with verbal reassurance or otherwise. I almost felt guilty about leaving, but I didn't feel guilty or sympathetic enough to stay.
