A lyric to an old love song was chosen by Patch readers as the best locket inscription in the "ANNIE's Locket of Love" contest. In the iconic story, Annie, an orphan, wears a locket around her neck, a token of love from her biological parents to help her get through tough times. As ANNIE returns to Broadway’s Palace Theatre, Patch community members in New Jersey were given a chance to express that same kind hope by creating their own locket inscriptions, with the best entries scoring a chance to win two tickets to see the show.
