With news that Teaneck's last Blockbuster is being shut down, Patch wants to know what you would like to see come to the former video rental store on Teaneck Road. The approximately 6,000 square foot space, at the State Street and Teaneck Road shopping plaza, is available but there is no word on any potential renters. Store is selling its stock, no longer offering rentals before closing date.
Teaneck’s Blockbuster store is closing, according to store employees. It was not clear when the store’s last day would come, but store employees said it would likely shut down in March. The store has stopped renting movies and is now selling off its inventory. Although a banner says the store is moving, another employee said it was not relocating. DISH Network spokeswoman Danielle Johnson declined to comment on any specific store closing, but said the company would continue to evaluate the performance of each store. “As we have said in previous statements, we remain committed to maintaining only those stores that we believe we will be able to operate profitably,” Johnson said in a statement. “For employees of any closing stores, we intend…

I would like to see a nice gym come to this location. There are enough places to eat locally and around Teaneck. We all need to focus on our health. Some gyms that come to mind, "The Gym", "Bally's", "New York Sports Club".   more ›
