Gang Members Sentenced in Slaying of Teaneck Man, Report Says
Teaneck man was killed in a case of mistaken identity
Three members of the “Dominicans Don’t Play” gang were sentenced to prison Tuesday in the 2009 killing of a Teaneck man attacked in Hackensack, northjersey.com reported. Union City resident Gabriel Pujols, 25, was sentenced to 23 years, the report said. Co-defendants 29-year-old Frederick DeLeon, also of Union City and Hackensack resident Manuel Ramirez were sentenced to 12 and 10 year terms. Prosecutors said the three were drinking at a party in Hackensack and got into a fight with a group of men they thought were from the “Trinitarios” gang, according to the report.
