Red Bulls Player Charged With Assaulting Fort Lee Police Officer

Fort Lee police Saturday arrested Wilman Conde, a player for the New York Red Bulls, charging him with aggravated assault on a police officer at an apartment where officers were responding to noise complaint.

A defender for the New York Red Bulls was charged with assaulting a police officer in Fort Lee early Saturday morning after police responded to a noise complaint at a 15th Street apartment, authorities said. Fort Lee police officers arrived at the Charlton at 5:30 a.m. Saturday to find loud music coming from one of the apartments, authorities said. After opening the door, the officers were met by Fhanor Dominguez-Sanchez, the owner of the apartment, and Wilman Conde, a 29-year-old who spent years in the Colombian leagues and with the Chicago Fire of the MLS before signing with the Red Bulls in January, according to police.
