PHOTOS: Teaneck Celebrates Fourth of July

Teaneck celebrated the Fourth of July holiday with its annual parade and festivities in Votee Park.  The event featured parade marchers from various community groups while the park celebration offered pony rides, emergency vehicles, games and more.    Check out the photo gallery above and click to upload your own Independence Day pictures.

I enjoyed Christopher Costa's pictures. He really captured the spirit of the day. I'm also happy that he just happen to take the picture of Girl Scout Troop 73 marching. They worked so hard on their banner for this parade. They will get a kick out of seeing this picture. Thank-you Christopher, your pictures made me feel like I was at the parade too.   more ›

Fourth of July Fireworks Across Northern New Jersey

A handful of locations in Bergen County will be offering fireworks to the delight of young and old this Fourth of July

Fireworks have become a staple in annual Fourth of July celebrations across the county but with towns still struggling in the current economy, many have stopped hosting their events. But at least 13 locations in Bergen County will be lighting up the night's sky in the coming days to mark Independence Day. For those willing to travel outside of Bergen County, the following towns will also be having a fireworks display: PASSAIC COUNTY MORRIS COUNTY HUDSON COUNTY Did we miss a town offering fireworks?
