The event featured parade marchers from various community groups while the park celebration offered pony rides, emergency vehicles, games and more. A handful of locations in Bergen County will be offering fireworks to the delight of young and old this Fourth of July
Fireworks have become a staple in annual Fourth of July celebrations across the county but with towns still struggling in the current economy, many have stopped hosting their events. But at least 13 locations in Bergen County will be lighting up the night's sky in the coming days to mark Independence Day. I enjoyed Christopher Costa's pictures. He really captured the spirit of the day. I'm also happy that he just happen to take the picture of Girl Scout Troop 73 marching. They worked so hard on their banner for this parade. They will get a kick out of seeing this picture. Thank-you Christopher, your pictures made me feel like I was at the parade too. more ›
