Black History Month Film Screening Planned in Teaneck [VIDEO]

School board to host documentary screening followed by soul food tasting and panel discussion.

The Teaneck Board of Education will host a screening of "Sing Your Song," a critically acclaimed documentary about the life and activism of Harry Belafonte.  The screening will be held at the Benjamin Franklin Middle School auditorium (1315 Taft Road) Feb. 24 at 3 p.m. A soul food tasting and panel discussion will follow the film.  Local organizations and businesses teamed up with the town's school board to put together the event.  Full details on the event are below, as provided by the school district:  In celebration of African-American History Month, the Teaneck Board of Education is partnering with various Teaneck community organizations, individuals and restaurants to host a screening of  Sing Your Song, the critically acclaimed …
