Lacey Township's schools superintendent was indicted Monday morning on charges she failed to immediately report a teacher's possible sexual assault of a 4-year-old special needs student while she was Wall Township's assistant superintendent, according to an indictment. On Friday, she was suspended without pay. The family of Paige Aiello has confirmed that a body discovered Wednesday in the Hudson River is the missing Hillsborough woman, according to the Find Paige Aiello Facebook page. Patrick Lott, assistant principal at Bernardsville Middle School prior to his arrest in December 2011, pleaded guilty Wednesday to videotaping boys in the showers at Immaculata High School where he was a volunteer basketball coach. Butler Councilman Sean McNear was indicted on child endangerment charges Thursday after authorities said he pointed a loaded BB gun at and threatened to shoot his 5-year-old son. A Columbia High School student was arrested Tuesday and will be charged with making a terroristic threat after he allegedly placed an envelope filled with white powder under a dean's office door, Capt. John M. Perna of the Maplewood Police Department said. A Teaneck man accused of stabbing his girlfriend to death and smothering her 5-year-old daughter after the child witnessed her mother's murder Monday pleaded not guilty at a packed state Superior Court hearing in Hackensack Thursday.  A husband and wife, both Fairleigh Dickinson University employees, were found dead Monday morning. A North Caldwell man was arrested Wednesday morning and charged with transporting a PVC pipe stuffed with explosives without a permit, according to U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman. According to the complaint, Anthony Nicholas Gallo, 20, traveled into Pennsylvania on Jan. 8, 2012 with a pipe containing potassium chlorate and magnesium with the plan of causing an explosion.  A nursing home worker and her friend accused of posting a Facebook photo of an elderly patient's genitalia were indicted Monday, the Attorney General's office announced.
