Teaneck Football Team Loses in Final Home Game of Season
The Highwaymen played tough but fell to Paramus 46-33 at home.
On a very cold autumn night, the Highwaymen looked to derail the Paramus Spartans' playoff hopes. Teaneck (2-6) fought throughout but came up short, losing 46-33. "In this division, you have to play flawlessly," Teaneck head coach Art Mazzacca said. "Unfortunately, we've made some mistakes here and there." Despite losing the game, the Highwaymen received big contributions from three of their seniors. Quarterback Anthony Upshaw threw for five touchdowns, running back Nevon Williams and Tyriek Harrison each found pay dirt twice.
