Fall Recreation Department Registration Begins

Township announces host of fall programs.

The following information was released by the Teaneck Recreation Department:  The good news for Township students and their parents is that going back to school also means that the Teaneck Recreation Department is once again offering a full schedule of fun and structured quality programming for residents ages 18 months to 54 years.  The fall program is scheduled to begin the week of September 24. For our youngest residents 18 months to 4 years of age, the department offers Creative Dance, Creative Movement, Junior Bowling, Kindergym, Kinderkraft and Toddlekins.  These classes provide a wonderful opportunity to learn basic socialization skills.  Individual classes are designed to focus on the development of specific skills such as balance …

Recreation Department Announces Summer Hours

Department will be open Wednesday nights beginning June 13.

The following information was released by the Teaneck Recreation Department:  The Teaneck Recreation Department is pleased to announce that in addition to its current office hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Monday to Friday, the office will also be open Wednesday evenings beginning June 13 through July 25 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Get your pool badge renewed, sign up for classes, or buy discounted amusement park tickets: we’re here to help you at a time that’s convenient for you! Openings Available in Township Ice Skating Program

Recreation Department offers instructional ice skating for children ages 6 to 13.

The following press release was submitted by the Teaneck Recreation Department:   The Teaneck Recreation Department is pleased to announce that there are still openings in our instructional ice skating for children 6 to 13 years of age.  Learning to skate offers children physical challenges as well as the opportunity to develop grace and to build confidence. Students in the beginner class learn to maintain balance on the ice and learn some of the basic moves of ice skating. The intermediate class allows students to advance beyond basic moves to learn the moves necessary to truly enjoy the benefits of this wonderful sport. Recreation Department Announces Adult Programs

The following press release was submitted by the Teaneck Recreation Department: Teaneck Recreation Department's program for children is well known and admired in our community but did you know that the Teaneck Recreation Department offers art, exercise and sports programs for adults as well? This fall the Department offers adults the opportunity to replenish energy lost through the daily grind by enrolling in Golf, Latin Ballroom, Pilates, Pottery, Tai Chi Chuan, Tennis, Indoor Tennis, Yoga for Relaxation and Zumba classes as well as participating in our open gym basketball and volleyball programs.
