Teaneck High School has no power, district says.
All Teaneck Public Schools will be closed Wednesday as the township continues to recover from a powerful early season snowstorm that hit the area, the district announced Tuesday night. Safety concerns led district officials to close township schools, a statement from the district said. Public schools have been closed since Monday and Teaneck High School has no power. “There are still blocked streets, downed power lines and downed limbs throughout the town. These would make bus and foot travel to school hazardous,” the statement said, noting school officials consulted with township emergency management personnel.
