What Should Replace Yo Boys on Cedar Lane?

Frozen yogurt shop closed last month

After opening in September 2011, Yo Boys Frozen Yogurt closed late last month.  The frozen yogurt spot shut down amid a string of other closures on Cedar Lane. The yogurt shop was directly adjacent to Cedar Lane Cinemas, which closed in November.  What business would you like to see replace Yo Boys? Readers have floated Starbucks and fast food as suggestions for the Cedar Lane business district, but what kind of business would you prefer in the former Yo Boys location? Froyo Shop Latest Cedar Lane Merchant to Close

A Teaneck frozen yogurt shop announced Tuesday night that it would close this month, the latest Cedar Lane merchant to shut down in recent weeks.  Yo Boys Frozen Yogurt said Dec. 30. would be its last day in Teaneck.  "In our time on Cedar Lane we've had the privilege of servicing you all as our family and friends. We truly loved and appreciated your patronage and conversation and you all will be missed," Yo Boys wrote on Facebook.  A "closing party" will be held Dec. 29 from 8 to 10 p.m., the message said. Yo Boys is next-door to the Cedar Lane Cinemas, which closed late last month after decades in town. Cedar Lane Yogurt Shop Holding Grand Reopening This Weekend

Cedar Lane’s Yo Boys will hold a Spring grand reopening starting Saturday, featuring outdoor music, seating and new all-natural menu items. The Family-owned Yo Boys opened near Cedar Lane Cinema in September, offering rotating yogurt flavors and “the healthy side of happiness.” James Savas, Yo Boys co-owner, offered the following details on the weekend plan:  We carry Organic and Fair Trade items as well as fresh fruit and Danone’s premium frozen yogurt brand - all served in 100% compostable plastic or paper cups!
