Utility crews, firefighters called to the scene.
Police closed Queen Anne Road, between West Forest Avenue and Dewey Place, while crews investigated a report of a broken gas line around 1 p.m. Thursday. Public Service Electric and Gas company crews were responding, a utility company spokeswoman said. Additional details were not immediately available. The Teaneck Fire Department was dispatched, but has since cleared the scene. A section of Queen Anne Road was closed earlier Thursday for work, but it was not yet clear if it was related to the reported broken line. A PSEG spokeswoman did not respond to a request for more information Thursday afternoon. The roadway was later reopened. Follow Patch on Facebook and Twitter or subscribe to our free daily newsletter
