Just the parking lot. The debris did not fall there naturally, it was taken there by the borough because (due to the sheer amount of downed trees, etc.) there was no more room at the recycling center.

The project you are referring to is currently under review by the zoning board, which is why it was not covered in the report presented to the planning board on Wednesday night. Since the study is being funded by the developers of the other two projects, it is also limited in its scope.

Let me clarify that the consultant is paid out of an escrow account, operated by the Village but funded by the developers behind the proposed Dayton and Chestnut Village projects.

His suggestions were upgrading traffic lights to improve flow and enhancing pedestrian safety with changes to sidewalks and certain corners. The report is not yet publicly available, so it is unclear specifically which areas he is recommending these improvements for, but among the intersections mentioned were those along Franklin Avenue.

ReplyYes, they are encouraging those who have managed to get an extra turkey to make donations. Turkeys can be dropped off Monday or Tuesday at the Ridgewood Village Hall community center.

Just a clarification: Fair Lawn All Sports has said they intend to seek private funding and grants, not money from the Council, for the project.
