About Judy

I am a wife, mom, grandma of four girls, and a Teaneck resident and cheerleader for 42 years.  I worked for the Board of Education for 25, first as coordinator of Operation Community Talent, which brought volunteers into the classroom, and then PR/community relations and the Community Education Center.  My proudest Teaneck achievements are two Aha! moments that led to the establishment of  the school vacation program (Camp Kookooskoos) when parents had nothing to do with their kids during school breaks, and the Teaneck International Film Festival.

Hi, Judy. I learned from Chuck Powers that you are involved in planning the future of Cedar Lane Cinemas. I'm a filmmaker's daughter, raised and schooled in Teaneck, now living and working in Teaneck, and I want to help in whatever way I can towards the creation of a non-profit arts theater, which I have no doubt would be an exceptional boon for this town. In my mind it's virtual certainty that the non-profit arts theater model will blow any kind of for-profit venture out of the water, and I will gladly do whatever needs to be done to make sure this becomes reality.
