ReplyI repeat, seems like a smarter idea to use the money for a memorial by buying an existing house, would cost less, not use public land, and provide space for meetings, museum, and staff to live.

ReplyTurkeys are unfortunately habituated to us: they don't even move aside for cars coming off Route 80 onto Glenwood Avenue. The four deer on Sheffield Road are more wary but hold their ground unless threatened openly. Too bad their poop isn't good fertilizer, or is it?

ReplyI am wondering why, if this group has or can raise the money ($2 million I heard) to raze and rebuild on public land, why not buy an existing house in Teaneck that could support the education, memorial, meetings, and even provide better parking and, in addition, have living quarters for possible staff?

ReplyA Walgreen pharmacy+ failed already near the Louie site and as a stockholder I wonder at their bad choice--and again?! All the involvement and smarts of the respondents to this controversy make me proud of Teaneck residents and wish they were on the Council and Boards.

Replyi infrequently need to contact the Municpal building, but I have had to wait three days when I called on a Friday. Am I wrong that the pay was the same though a day was cut from their schedule? Keep the pay and add the day.

Well, I wouldn't get educated by the name-calling, cutesy hostility. People who support Mr. Garrett could help his cause by outlining his votes and stands on issues, or at least be proud of themselves for their knowledge.
