Mary Ronda, Neighbor

I am married, have 2 children and 5 grandchildren.  We lived in Ridgefield Park with my Mom for 18 years before moving to Highland Lakes in 2004.   I was a State worker employed by North Jersey Developmental Center, a facility for the developmentlaly disabled, as a medical secretary.   Mom was not happy living so far from her friends and decided to move to Bright Side Manor, where some of her friends resided.  She has never been happier living at Bright Side Manor.  I visit her every Saturday and help prepare the Living Room for the Catholic mass every week.  Whenever there is a holiday, I try to make something for the residents to celebrate the occasion.  They are so appreciative of whatever I do for them. Making people happy, makes me happy.
