ReplyDiane: don't worry..... Teaneck is famous for finding projects, ordering studies, paying for studies, finding contractors, awarding contracts and than keep paying beyond the original estimates.... There is a reason why this town taxes more than any surrounding town without providing basic services such a garbage pickup.....
Some people (interest groups) simply find it easy to discredit anyone who try to speak for average tax payer.......

ReplyTheir are other fields that exist and (paid by the tax payers) should be used... instead of wasting more money on such projects......

ReplyJamesTS: Teaneck residents do not trust our town management...... they say money is coming from other resources before they commit to the project.. when the project is finished.... it is the tax payers money that pays for overruns and mismanagement...... Besides..... why should any money be spend on projects like this.........

ReplyLarry: This town is run by special interests..... they will chop you down for even suggesting garbage pickup......
Trees should not planted by township if they cannot maintain it.... if people are going to be responsible than they should choose what stays and what goes.....
We don't need a tree police unless these tree huggers want to pay for the upkeep from their pocket...... This town is crazy.....

ReplyThe tree was generating the cash.... simply put.......
The question should be why a tree growing on private property is even a concern of so many? the owner decided to get rid of them.... and they did.... stop the fuss..... already.......

May be the people of "understanding" are the reason why Teaneck school system is such a miserable failure..... Teaneck school system gets the worst results among all its peers meanwhile spending the most $s per student.....
Board should not agree to any contracts with any type of increase in it... this is what board should do.... why is it such a difficult thing to understand...... who is asking about changing the current contracts..... Mr. knowledgeable.....

Sorry to say Lisa: just the thought of going to eat at cedar lane is a turnoff for me..... (except the pizza stores)...... I hate that street.... why should I spend my money there when I can get a better deal elsewhere.....
