Bacon Doughnuts, Fat Sandwiches Come to Teaneck

Former Louie's waiter adds late night menu, delivery

A Cedar Lane eatery run by a former Louie’s Charcoal Pit waiter has rolled out a late night menu, offering new dishes and delivery for hungry night owls.

The french-fry stuffed Fat Sandwich, made popular on the Rutgers campus, and a homemade vanilla glazed donut topped with hickory-smoked bacon are among the new late night options at Al’s Charcoal Pit.

There are 10 sandwich options and customers can make their own creations with options ranging from mozzerella sticks to chips and more.

Free delivery is available to Teaneck, the site reported. There’s a two sandwich minimum for delivery to Hackensack, Bogota, Maywood and Paramus. Delivery is offered until 4 a.m. and the restaurant is open for dine-in until 5 a.m.
