Municipal offices will be closed Monday due to Columbus Day. All Teaneck emergency services are operating as usual.

A series of flu vaccination clinics for Teaneck residents will begin Thursday at the Richard Rodda Center.


According to the township, the residents-only clinic will run from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 250 Colonial Court. Four other clinics will be held through November at the community center. More details are available at the link.

Recycling Pick-Up Schedule


Leaf pickup season started in Teaneck Friday, but the Columbus Day holiday will cause some debris pick-up schedule changes, the town announced online. Click for full details on recycling pick-up schedule changes through the week.


Senate Race


Wednesday will bring the state’s special election to fill the seat ofSen. Frank Lautenberg, who died in June. Two Bergen County-natives, Democratic Newark Mayor Cory Booker and Republican ex-Bogota Mayor Steve Lonegan are running for the spot.
